Widgetsphere is a company focused on the new programmatic paradigm of software modeling. This allows companies to build software based on frameworks instead of piecewise putting code together that is difficult to maintain. We offer solutions that allow you to model your software not hand-code every aspect.

There is also a methodology coming with this coding style, one of modeling and designing software not hacking to together. Companies that have never used frameworks are hesitant to implement them. It is like the blind man who does not appreciate color. You cannot miss what you have never had. Also there are always those individuals in an organization that are resistant to change. Their mantra is, "I have been doing it this way for 10 years." The only response you can have for those people is that man used horse and buggy for millennia, but a car sure is nice!

We as software engineers have to break out of the mental confinement we create for ourselves. The way we developed software in the past was slow, expensive, and error prone. There is nothing wrong with this tactic, but there is a better way.

No one should be in a commodity business if one wants to survive very long. Any product or process that can be made a commodity will be outsourced. People who hack software together are nearing the end of their usefulness. This is not to say that they do not have some skills to offer. They may be very good at what they do, but John Henry could not stop automation no matter how talented he was in his discipline. This should not be feared but embraced as an opportunity to make yourself more marketable and build higher quality software in less time. Nothing makes you more marketable than being able to do the work of two or more developers. This does not mean less developers or layoffs. It means higher quality and more interesting software being built. You will like your job much more when you do not have to do the grunt work.
